Jiya Kumar

I am a second-year undergraduate studying Music Industry and Cognitive Science. I'm deeply interested in the intersection between music and new technologies to empower global artists. Working directly on DataX's events and marketing initiatives exposes me to researchers who stay at the forefront of new technologies to shape these types of positive changes worldwide. Outside of DataX, I also manage a department of UCLA's record label, volunteer for music education across LA, run a website spotlighting women in music, and love to sing in UCLA's Awaken A Cappella!
