Yifan Chen

Assistant Professor, UCLA Department of Mathematics

Yifan Chen obtained his Ph.D. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Caltech in 2023 and was a Courant Instructor at NYU Courant Institute from 2023 to 2025. His research focuses on the mathematical analysis and applications of probabilistic inference, stochastic algorithms, and partial differential equations in scientific computing and data science.
