3 UCLA faculty elected to National Academy of Engineering

Rong Fu, a professor of atmospheric and oceanic sciences in the UCLA College and director of UCLA’s Joint Institute for Regional Earth System Science & Engineering, was elected for her work on “methodologies that use satellite remote sensing to characterize and predict precipitation over land.” Dr. Fu is a member of the DataX Faculty Advisory Committee.
